The AMS Cockpit is a web based platform of managing and controlling instruments for business management.

For performance measurement and analysis, Dixendris AMS Cockpit uses key data and methods, and offers both standard and customized analysis and reporting capabilities.

The reports are based on actual operating figures from controlling, and therefore always represent the latest status.

For use as an early warning system, each figure can individually or on a consolidated basis be assigned an alarm.

Relevant information is gathered from various different source systems (or also through manual entries in web based forms) and is combined in a central database (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL) administered via a web based user interface. Thus the necessary information is available to the user group in a single presentation environment via a web browser.

The Dixendris AMS Cockpit is flexible, scalable and highly cost-effective. It can be integrated into any IT environment and works with all third party systems thanks to its open architecture.

The Dixendris AMS consists of several scalable applications (modules) to support specific management processes. All modules are fully web-based (Java, HTML), and users need only a web browser. The system is based upon underlying configurable “decision trees.” Data elements are configured on the node of the web based decision tree, which displays the SQL queries to one or more databases. All major relational databases are supported (such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL). Manual input masks (web forms) can be defined for data which is not otherwise readily available.

A “traffic light” indicator can be mapped to each data item in the form. The advantage of this traffic light logic is that simple and understandable attention can be focused on areas not reaching predefined targets.

The presentation of data elements is freely configurable. This means that standard graphics can be added to the numerical representation. The types of representation are always available through the consistent use of web standards (JSP pages).

Depending upon the authorization given, selected local data can also be further downloaded to other applications (e.g. MS Office).

Standard analyses are displayed directly in the Dixendris AMS Cockpit. For complex analysis, the system also interfaces with statistical applications (eg SAS, STATISTICA).
